pc upgrade
hi, could you recommend me the best upgrade for my pc, I don't have too much knowledge about pc hardware.
validation link cpu-z: http://valid.x86.fr/uzutdr
I guess I'm gonna need a new cpu and mobo first, but I rly don't know which would be the best.
the problem is my budget is only 500$ so if I could fit in?
thanks

Edit: In case you are scared to click validation link here are my specs:
cpu: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 650 @ 3.20GHz
mobo: MSI 2A9C socket 1156
ram: 5120 MB ddr3
gpu: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 (GK104) @ 324 MHz

I was told with that gpu I should be having at least 150 fps in CSGO on low details, but I got only around 100 (no software problems, new SSD and reinstalled system)
I'd like to push my fps at least to 200, but not sure whether I can do it with 500 bucks only what do you think?

You should get a GeForce 9xx series, 600-700 won't get you the desired fps

is there i7 + mobo which fit into 500$ budget?

If you want to save money, you could buy an i5 760 (quad core) or i7 870 and use them on your current motherboard. Both should be faster than the i5 650.

Alternatively, get an i5 4460 and B85 motherboard.

Either choice will be fine for csgo. I would suggest getting an 8GB memory kit also.

Also has that GTX 670 been underclocked? Most run at 915mhz or above, not 324mhz.

how do I find out whether it was underclocked? I don't understand this so much. I bought this pc from a friend of mine 2 years ago and it was running very well, but about last 3 months it is just somehow slower.

The GTX 670 is still decent enough until you can upgrade it. There seems to be a driver or OS issue going on. Try reinstalling your driver or reinstalling Windows. It's best to buy Windows again when changing motherboards.

that 100 bucks motherboard is enough? that's good ! thought it would be more expensive.

btw I recently reinstalled whole windows to 7 (I was using 8.1 before that) and there I downloaded new drivers (it's like 2 weeks ago)

It could also be a temp problem. Your card doesn't seem to be running at full performance. A lower card can get higher fps than that in Counter Strike on max settings. Is the monitor connected to the back of the 670 or the motherboard?

well there is only one HDMI connector and it looks like it's connected to that 670, but i'm not rly sure

I have a system with a 3.2GHz i7 920, 8GB DDR3 1600MHz and GTX960 2GB, it gets 150-200 with max settings in CSGO. When it was running on just 4GB (single stick) it was the same so no need to upgrade the RAM yet.

Add:

i7 860/870 or i5 750/760, a 4460 is not that much faster than these but will need a new motherboard.
Remove the 1GB RAM stick
The GTX 670 performs faster than the GTX 760 and slightly slower than the GTX 960 so it's not really worth replacing it with anything less than a GTX 970 so it's likely the Dual Core that's holding things back.

Don't be alarmed by the 384MHz, that's just idle speed.

thank you man !
So I was thinking about this Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor which recommended the guy above you, you say it's not worth? I'd like to keep the new gear for at least 2 more years, although I play only CSGO (and hearthstone) which shouldn't change a lot.

Also some told me that this motherboard is old and bad (MSI 2A9C) and thus it sucks, but I frankly don't know its influence on performance of my pc.

The main drawback of your motherboard is that unlike a P55 board it has no (or very little) scope for overclocking your CPU or for running high speed RAM.

As I see it you have two options, get a quad core CPU that works with your existing hardware and delay the major overhaul until slack season next year or replace the MB, CPU & RAM with a basic Skylake system.

Either way you can afford to add an SSD.
