Steam Gaming Surface RT

Hi all, have just brought a Microsoft surface RT and now reading the forums, If I am reading correctly I cant download steam...!! anyone know how to get around this???

You can't. Windows RT cannot run regular Windows apps.

There may be some unofficial way to install regular windows but since it is ARM based it is likely to have issues and the surfaces running Windows RT are not that powerful anyway. Since Windows RT has bee discontinued by MS I doubt there's going to be much more community support but maybe check over at XDA

The RT is an ARM based processor and thus can't run any actual Steam games

You need the Surface Pro, or the "Surface 3" devices which are Intel ones. The RT was like the 1st/2nd generation of the Surface and MS was 'trying' to make a low power iPad like device but given that the MS Store is like a warehouse that sells 5 candy bars, it never really took off.
