Old phone number deactivated and now I can't remove it?

My old cell phone number was deactivated and I got a new one but in order to change/remove it from my steam account it needs the SMS code from my old phone number which doesn't exist anymore... How do I change it now?

Do you have the Steam Mobile Guard Authenticator in place though?

Well I guess i'm contacting support cause it will literally be impossible to get the old number back.

If you have the authenticator working, or have backup SteamGuard codes you can use those
