Moving a game from one laptop to another

Hi, I am looking to purchase Jackbox party pack but I have a query. If I buy the product and download it to my laptop, what's happens when I buy a new laptop, (which I should be getting in the new year) how do I transfer the game over to my new laptop?

As long as you install the Steam client on the new laptop and login with the same account you can download the game again on your new laptop. All games are bound to your account and can be downloaded on as many systems as you want.

When you download Steam to your Laptop and you´re logged in with your Steam account, all games are there but you must download the games again

Instead of downloading again you can simply move the game over to a external drive or thumbstick if you have one big enough. put the game folder in where your new laptop put's your steam games and it will automatically notice the files and verify them. No install needed. Otherwise yes... just download them again.
