dude why are you so aggressive, in my first post i said im not even interested in the game cause it doesnt look appealing to me, i never said nft is good or whatever, someone asked for nft games on steam and i answered, i am very sorry that mentioning that i am interested in new technologies triggers you so hard
and bitcoin bad for climate.. just a drop in the ocean of war and war machines, thats a real hyprocritical and framing point you try to make
yea as i said i didnt really dive into it yet, i just think new stuff is interesting because everything that is done now is objectively really bad imo
im sorry i didnt mean in NFT (i dont know so much about it, obviously)
i meant "serious buisness" gaming development in general is very lazy and just plain bad thats why i hope for "new" things no matter what
i mean nft, money blockchain blabla i dont even care about that, all the "serious buisness" publishers and developers are lazy boring stupid and objectively worse than before, so whenever there is something where "no serious buisness is interested".. thats actually a good sign because even the "good games" are made worse by the "serious buisness" publishers with stupid monetization and whatever
That you own the Sword of Utter Awesomeness with +4 against ogres is thus stored on computers all over the globe in people's homes, whether the servers are up or not. Thus far you are correct.
The value of the sword however, derives from demand, and how much demand do you think there will be when the game in which it can be used is no longer up and running?
There's nothing inherent to NFT/blockchain that makes sure you can trade it. You need transaction software to transfer it between one wallet and the other and the odds are most companies will build that into their game in order to take a cut.
They're all just spam games.
All games that have tradable drops are not NFTs.
