Recommend NFT game on Steam?
Hello, I would like to try NFT game. Is there one available on Steam? If yes, how do I search for NFT games? Can you recommend NFT game outside of Steam? Thank you.

game that is using NFT for objects/skins/weapons player can equip or move.
What is NFT? > An NFT, or a nonfungible token, is a digital file created using blockchain computer code. It is bought using cryptocurrency such as Ether or Wax, and exists as a unique file unable to be duplicated, often just to be admired digitally.

More important these NFT game items can be traded bc everyone is unique.

I just read about these game being in production but I cannot find one that is playable and working. I mean actual games, not a clicker.

to me main reason im interested in is not the "ooh this is real estate if you own it" but cause its blockchain it cant just be shut down (like many games i liked lol)

im not smart enough to really understand whats going on exactly but that was my takeaway

How can a game not be shut down just because you "own" a thing in a game?

Please, inform yourself on what NFT is, what it does, why it is absolute hyped nonsense and why serious businesses and developers do not bother with it.

Yeah, no. That's not how it'll end up. Transfer of in-game items still requires some game infrastructure. If that game goes down, your in-game NFTs go down as well.
On the other hand, items from the likes of CSGO or TF2 don't go down.

To own NFT object just means there is a server that tells you you own it. Like items in TF2 or CSGO. Server goes down and you have only picture art file on your computer.

Which means, if the game shuts down you are left with nothing but a literally worthless picture.

Nope. That's not the case. The whole point of NFTs is there's no central server. As long as the blockchain is alive, there's a record of you owning that thing.

That only works for copyable things though, images, for example, files in general.

If a game goes down, there's still that NFT block chain entry of you owning some item, but the item itself is gone forever still.

Either way, NFT in-game items is somewhere between a pointless fad and pointless hipster ♥♥♥♥. There's exactly 0 PRACTICAL advantages to be had, except you can feel good about yourself for having joined the NFT crowd.

Well, in theory, you can make a screenshot of that in-game item, but that's still pointless.

Basically a game that includes "cryptocurrency" kind of assets to be bought and sold for fantasymoney aka cryptocurrency.

A game can be shutdown no matter how much money you invest in it and no matter what you call those "money"

Fantasymoney and the like only exists because "There's one born every minute."

as i said im just interested in stuff like that in general, i didnt really dive deep into the topic, as i understood, there are no "game servers" that can be shut down cause its blockchain between the users or something
people said the same about bitcoin back then
and tbh i dont care what "serious buisness" bothers with or not cause all big developers just develop literal trash in last years

i dont even know if there is any "hype" about it, to me it seems getting bashed left and right :D
i dont have the time to look it up but i will when it becomes more relevant

Ok, then buy your NFT thing that is essentially worthless when the game is shut down and your precious item is no longer available.
Sure, you can still prove ownership of it with your NFT. But that's all you can do.
You own a certificate of ownership with an NFT, nothing more.

People bash it because they actually understand how stupid the concept is. Even Bitcoin makes more sense and that one is a massive threat to our climate.

Blockchain doesn't magically make game servers exist. If the servers aren't provided block chain, magic or supernatural elves don't magically make servers appear.
