(SOLVED)I can´t log in Steam via Epic Games.

I put a wrong password too many times, It says I have to wait but It´s been 3 days already.

I tried a VPN, the same happens.
I tried with TOR...

Can the Steam Staff reset something to let me in?

Hi. I´m trying to play Rocket League. I think I have to link Steam and Epic Games. I used to play several months ago, before Epic Games took over.

I downloaded Epic Games Launcher, It says I can log in via Steam, Epic, Facebook, Google, PSN, etc., but I put a wrong password by mistake too many times.

I was told to wait because my ip, or net, is suspicious. This was 2 or 3 days ago. I tried the VPN solution also but it didn´t work. I´m stuck.

I must add, the webpage is from Steam, not Epic´s.

Did you make sure that you linked the CORRECT epic and steam accounts together?

Many times it is a user who forgets that they actually have more than one account, purchasing a game on one but not realizing it, etc. make sure that the epic and steam accounts you want to link are both the right ones.

I mean, the problem is not linking the accounts, but logging in with my Steam account through Epic Games. Once I failed to put the correct passoword I can´t access, it says my connection is suspicious.
Same happens if you fail putting your password for any other account.

What is weird, is that I can access my Steam account right here in Steam, but I can´t do it on the internet navigatror through the official Steam web, because I´m in he same connection, why isn´t my connection suspicious anymore?

You put wrong passwords too many times, that might be the reason why Steam flagged you as suspicious. Steam thought someone else was trying to steal your account by guessing your password. Now it needs to be reset.

Yeah to add some clarity when you do a Steam login via Epic, Steam knows where the connection is coming from (Epic) so when you got too many failed logins Steam assumed your Epic Games account was compromised and blocked it from logging into your Steam even if you got the password right. Apparently the password reset process must clear this flag (as it indicates you've recovered access to your account otherwise you wouldn't have initiated such a step plus it'll be a new password anyway afterwards).
