How to indent bullet points?

Title says it all. I'm trying to write indented bullet points for a steam guide, but whenever I try to indent them...

• They never...
  
• ...keep the indent.

I've tried doing it in front of the [*] and behind it as well, but no matter what I try the indent doesn't stick. What do?

Indentation according to what? I have absolutely no clue what your intention is... To me the above bullet points are indented according to your first paragraph.

If you want to have "subbulletpoints" then you can go like this:

[list][*]This is a baseline...
[list][*]... this is indented...[/list]
[*]... while this is not[/list]

Which renders to...

• This is a baseline...
  
  • ... this is indented...
• ... while this is not

If you want to manually indent your text by putting multiple whitespaces infront of text then forget it; Steam ignores that for a reason. You can try using ASCII-Code when typing a tab or multiple spaces. Never tested that but I am sure Steam will ignore them as well
