No memo needed, no client online needed.
What you say works only if I am at the PC the moment I decide I want to download a game (and is not the case, I am physically not home at the moment but I want to queue a download that will begin the moment I get the home steam client online). Then yes of course I would pause it, but why would I pause it if I could begin it in the first place?
That is why I did the example with the google play store (but I think playstation works the same way, I can't be sure though...) you can add a game to your account and it will begin the download the moment you go online / the device connects.
yeah exactly, with the PC on there would be no problem for various reasons. It's fine, it is not vital. I was just curious about finding a way to do it.
Normally if I buy a game, I put it in my "never played" section of my library (I have different sections in the library).
For this particular example, I wanted to put in the download queue the Supraland demo (cannot be added to the library and I also cannot download it and have it in "recent games" because it doesn't support Mac so it will not start the download at all). It's fine, I'll just put a reminder and start it physically when I am home (as I normally do), was just curious about alternative ways.
