Random Steam Guard notification
Hey guys, few minutes ago (01:30 CET) I got a random steam guard notification. I can't really remember requesting one, might be because it's a bit late. I checked recent login history and there's noting weird (yet). I also changed my password. Is it going to be enough or I should be a bit worried and check the log in histroy more often?

If you got a steam guard notification on your app, that means someone has attempted to login to your account. This could have been accidental or malicious. Your account should be safe as steam guard would have required them to enter the code before they could gain entry to your account.

It was a good idea to change your password to ensure this person cannot accidentally or maliciously login to your account.

So I was looking through my account data and I found 6 different system supplied computer names. Does this mean they had access to my account before or just steam messed some stuff up there?

If you're feeling unsure, then do the following:
1. Deauthorize all devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
2. Change your password on a secure device.
3. Generate new back up codes. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Revoke the api key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

Missed one. While unlikely Malware grabs their login data it is possible

Scan for Malware/virus https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/
Deauthorize all devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
Change your Account password on a secure device, mobile phone for example.
Generate new back up codes https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

I actually checked and my PC renamed itself so I doubt it’s malware but I’ll do the steps. Thank you guys!
