Linking Games to Library

Is there any possible way to link games that were bought elsewhere to Steam and show in my library? Of course, this must be games available on Steam if this is possible.

All that does is add a shortcut to the exe in your library. If you want the game in your Steam account, then select Add a Game - Activate a Product on Steam and enter the key code you received with the game. If the code doesn't work, or you don't have one, then you can't add it to your Steam acount.

Much more helpful, guess I'll have to keep running it without the Steam options. Oh well.
