My webcam randomly turns on by itself and then the ASUS Lifeframe Program opened.

This is the first time this has happened, but now I'm paranoid. I'm not sure if its a virus because I haven't downloaded anything. Oh, and is it possible to get viruses from artwork that's uploaded? I like to browse the CSGO artwork.

you cant get a virus from looking at pics on steam, but you should run a virus scan

Steam isn't using your webcam's microphone as the audio input device, right?

Steam > Settings > Voice.

csgo or other app itself can activate the camera as a microphone

My webcam and microphone are separate i think. I have realtek high definition microphone built into my laptop.

Try clicking [Test Microphone] and see if that does anything.

I did that and the camera didnt come on.
