[Resolved] steam icon is stuck in taskbar

one day i was playing medieval 2 when i got out of the game steam minimized then, i uninstalled and then reinstalled steam and it went back to normal, the following day i played another game after i got of it, steam minimized again, and its been stuck minimized, i can play games just fine but can't access steam itself if been looking around for a way to fix it but i've had no luck

i have windows 10 fyi

When you think things couldn't get any weirder lmfao.

Maybe the window has moved to somewhere else on the screen, try looking around, also increase your desktop resolution or decrease to see if the window shows up again.

Try ALT+TAB if doesn't work, change settings of taskbar to other (from bottom to upper).

Like that: I think when you minimized the Steam window has moved to somewhere out of your screen, maybe under the taskbar, maybe more to the left, so I think that maybe changing the resolution will bring the Steam window back in place, if not, could try killing steam process on task manager and reopening, or remove the shortcut on the task bar and adding a new one.

Taskbar settings -> Position -> Set to other option. From bottom to upper etc.

"Find the diablo 3 icon in your start menu, right click there and unpin from taskbar"

His Steam window is not showing cuz his icon in the taskbar is stuck!!!!!! and he can't click it! like it got freezed in this bar or lagged.
Trying to change position of taskbar will help to unstuck this icon from taskbar.

His Steam window is not showing cuz his icon in the taskbar is stuck!!!!!! and he can't click it!

If that's the case, just make a new shortcut on desktop, double click and: "boom" steam window opens.
Allright I'm confused now, this is a weird problem he has. Format the PC might work.

Have you tried hit the keys "Windows+tab?" and select "Desktop 2 or 3 or whatever?"

it isn't pinned
