msvcp120.dll and msvcr120.dll errors (SOLVED)
Any techies with any suggestions? I have tried looking for info everywhere, but nealry all of it is out of date or the recommendations don't work. Here(steam forums) is my last resort before I give up and hope someone puts out an update for something,

This is since the latest windows 10 update

I first had a problem with my logitech gaming software, Lcore.exe was using the above two dll files which gave me an error saying they were either not designed for windows or contain an error. When I had Logitech gaming software set to start with windows the pc went into a reboot loop.
Eventually the pc started so I turned 'start with windows' off in the logitech software, I reinstalled the dll files, now the pc starts fine and I can manually start the Logitech stuff.

However, when I tried to start Origin I get the exact same error regarding the 2 Dll files. I tried to re-install Origin which now doesn't work as the same files are preventing me from even installing it.

I have tried;
Several random forums from Googling it,
Microsoft forums,
Ea Forums,
Logitech Forums,
sfc scan in the command prompt which found no problems

Given that the latest Runtime stuff is 2013 I don't think C++ stuff will be getting changed any time soon.

I am stumped :/ at this point it all starts to get out of my depth.

If anyone has any ideas or can point me in the right direction I would apprecaite the help.

I have downloaded Vcredist_x64 from the microsoft support site, I tried the repair and also uninstall/reinstall options. This only managed to get the Logitech software working and only if I ran it after startup. I havent downloaded the X86 version though as my Windows is 64 bit, do I need to 32 bit also?

Even after reinstalling it, I got the same errors trying to start Origin. The dll files are there, just not working.

I am having the same issue and neither of those worked. Except its with Origin and Battlefield 1. EA help support is useless. Any other ideas?

Nash, you're truly a lifesaver, even now, three years later. Last night after the newest Win10 update the exact same thing Moose described happened to me as well and I can confirm your solution to reinstall both 32 and 64 redistributable packages works, even without restart. Brilliant, thanks a lot to both of you for this page.

I don't know what the deal has been with my games, but had an issue start up about three days ago where a good portion of my games that just wouldn't start. I've been getting "missing executable" errors, and a slew of different dll errors. You would imagine that by now such problems wouldn't happen, but oh well. Got several of my games back up to par with the redistributables.
