How do I use Nvidia Geforce Experience with Steam Games?

I would like to optimise my games with Nvidia Geforce Experience but I cannot find the files that correspond to my steam games.

Things like Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike Global Offensive, Dota 2, Portal series, Left for Dead series and the famous Half-Life 2 are all on the supported list, and more probably.

Pretty much all modern AAA games are supported. For settings optimization, that is. Recording is supported everywhere.

Have you tried re-downloading and installing it from Nvidia's web site?

I haven't tried re-downloading it yet, leaving it as the last option for the time being. As for the folders, I added multiple folders from the MVCi file for it to scan but nothing. Doesn't show up.

No idea what a "MVCi file" is, but you have to add SteamApps.

I have a folder filled with my steam games. When clicked I get the updating steam and the game plays. These same games are available through Geforce Experience. I never play online and only play single player. Is there a benefit to starting from Geforce over just clicking the steam link in my programs menu. I tried it and starting through Geforce "seems" to start up faster but .. I could be imagining it.

Because Geforce Now doesn't run games. Those run on your computer.
