Error communicating steam servers help

is there a problem in steam servers or is it on my side only? last night i suddenly got disconnected in steam while playing dota 2, then i really cant log in back using the steam client, but i can log in using the website. i search for solutions already which makes use of adding -tcp in the steam shortcut, restarting pc, restarting router, disabled anti virus and etc it still doesn't work. this only happened to me recently,i used to be online to steam without experiencing this error for years. It really sucks especially whenever i play ranked match and will be dced for this error. Help please.

Same to me... I'm having server issues for the CLIENT program but the site works perfect... Gaben really needs to stop spilling his morning coffee on the servers... *Sigh* *Gaben and his problem with spilling coffee on the servers...*

I've never experienced this issue myself, but try uninstalling steam (or Dota) and try reinstalling it to your PC. This could be a plausible solution to fix your conflict as reinstalling the game could allow it to receive any missed updates that you might have accidently skipped over. If all else fails then try contacting the Dota 2 Team via Valve's website: http://www.valvesoftware.com/email.php
