Razer Sabertooth gamepads not recognized for games that support Xbox 360 gamepads.
This is for Razer Sabertooth uses that notice there gamepad lately hasn’t been recognized for Xbox 360 controller supported games but has been working for their old games or you reinstalled an old game and noticed it no longer detects your Sabertooth the Solution is near the bottom of the page marked as “SOLUTION”.

I have had my Razer Sabertooth for over a year now and never had issues using it with my Xbox 360 gamepad supported games but up in till recent months I’ve noticed a lot of games that said they had gamepad support were not detecting my Razer Sabertooth while others would and initially I thought it was the game at fault specially since the Razer Sabertooth actually uses the same drivers as the Xbox 360 Gamepad and are not modified in any way.
On top of that I have a Logitech F310 Gamepad which all gamepad supported games would recognized and obviously I would not have both my controllers connected but in some games I was troubleshooting the issues and had both connected then found it odd that in a game that did not recognize the Razer Sabertooth a lone it was responding to the controls however my Logitech F310 was no longer working and even more odd is when I went into the games controller settings it said that it was using my F310 controller so for a while this seemed to work for other games that also did not detect my Sabertooth.

Then today I decided to reinstall and play Dragon Age Inquisition again and was alarmed that it did not recognize my Razer Sabertooth when last year it was detecting it just fine so I thought maybe a recent patch for the game must of cause some sort of conflict so I resorted to my Razer Sabertooth + Logitech F310 tactic and no luck then went to EA forums and found a page that linked to a Steam Thread solution for a standard Xbox 360 gamepad that pointed out windows being at fault for some games not being able to recognize a gamepad, the fix was this:

1. Unplug your controller.
2. Go to Control panel then Device Manager then Human Interface Devices.
3. Right click on HID-Compliant game controller.
4. Click Properties.
5. Click on the Drivers tab.
6. Click "Disable".

So I tried this solution out myself and ran into a wall. Under Human Interface devices “HID-Compliant game controller” was not present and instead "Controller (Razer Sabertooth Elite)" was so in theory when I disconnect my Razer Sabertooth gamepad the entry "Controller (Razer Sabertooth Elite)" should remain however it did not however It did remind of an issue in the past when I fixed a customers computer at work that had issues with operating a USB device that previously worked and no longer did and an exact replacement also produced the same issues and that my solution to fixing it was to completely dump all installed USB drivers across all USB ports then doing a system restart and then the device worked flawlessly.

So since I did not want to dump all of my USB drivers as I would lose my profiles and settings for my Logitech G910 Keyboard (funny bug) I decided another tactic.

SOLUTION:
1. In Device Manager expand the "Microsoft Common Controller For Windows Class" device list.
2. Right click on "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows" (these are the drivers the Razer Sabertooth uses)
3. Click on Uninstall.
4. Unplug then plug in your Razer Sabertooth.

You should notice it takes a much longer while to install the drivers this time round than it would beforehand and that in Human interface devices it no longer has an entry called "Controller (Razer Sabertooth Elite)" and instead now has “HID-Compliant game controller” and the Razer Sabertooth should now work with every game that supports an Xbox 360 gamepad again instead of just a few.
