Steam lagging on one single account
So on this account "Rebel" It appears to lag, and lag only on this account. I have 2 other accounts and on them its fine. All my games that i run on this account lag aswell, I shared my library with my other account and it then started lagging everything on that account including the games that i ran. The only thing I cant think of is the amount of games i have could be lagging my account. Im not that sure though, any thoughts?

I don't think the amount of games, maybe its a certain game linked with that account is corrupted? you should maybe verify games that don't run smoothly on it.

Check and see if there are any programs interfering with Steam.
Look for them HERE.

Hmm, I looked through and none of those programs are on my computer, Though skype is, I closed it and no differences.

"All of my games lag", and yet the only game you've visibly played since October 11th is Garry's Mod. http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198046475464

Are you sure?

Check for anti-virus which may interfere I mean.

Im sure, I tried a few months ago. Even csgo lags, but gmod and cs are really the only games i care about playing and they lag. And none of the antivirus that i have are on there. I use Windows Defender

work f me
Exact same problem, started a few days ago too. Tried changing my favourite window in steam settings to something different which relieved the lag a lot. Still a bit of lag persists but it is much more bearable than before!
Edit: Think I have found a solution, try going to Program Files (x86) > Steam > SteamApps. In here there should be a folder 'downloading', delete that and restart steam. I had a Dota 2 and Mw2 download pending that wouldn't update and this fixed it for me. Hope this helps
