Direct3D problem.

I recently bought Undertale, and I was really excited to play it. However, whenever I open it it says "Failed to create Direct3D 9ex device". I looked into it, and I opened up DirectX. Direct 3D is disabled, and I have no idea how to fix it.

I have Windows 7 and a Standard VGA Graphics card (Latest Version).

I also tried resizing the game to the lowest, and it still didn't work.

Please help me with this.

I too am having this issue. Help pls. I'm running a ASUS Radeon R9 290 graphics card on windows 7 16 GB ram running at 1920 x 1080 resolution. I tried compatibility for windows 7, running as admin and going to properties in the game in steam and changing set launch options to my resolution it just gives me a different error: Command line option syntax error. Type Command /? for Help.

ihave the same trouble , not sure how to proceed, gonna ask around
i have the amd 7400,9or close to that) im not able at this point to kno how but see if you can roll back your drivers to the previous setting and see if that helps, a friend of mine once said that unless your driver is failing dont update it,it may not work

it did, i went to my device mgr, found the diplay part, right click to proerties. find drivers tab open and look for roll back drivers and click it will ask you to confirm, do that , your screne will flash 1-2x, then should be ok if the rool back drivers is dark then youve done it, chk dota you should be ok, this only if you have an error diplay not for a non functioning dota with onlt the music and dota icon
