User created library folder appdata location ?
I migrated my steam install off the windows install drive , the library shows installed games still on both steam slave drives still which 1 drive already had a steamlibrary folder which the new install is in steam folder , so it is showing all game are installed perfectly . my issue is the new install does not show my extensive user created folder settings to sort my game library in , i have a fairly large collection and sort them to my own custom settings . screenshot https://gyazo.com/dd680e5f4f62beb016cf8f1e5c0f7edc
Now my steam library shows 1200 plus games in just 2 default folders Games and SteamVR folders none of my custom genre folders are showing i still have my original steam install on the OS drive just renamed to .old . what files in what location can i find the userdata to restore my custom library settings ?

win 7 home premium 64 bit

well the forums where no help nor steam support , luckily my friends rule . guess i will go to them first for now on LMAO .
the correct answer Steam\userdata\<ID>\7\remote\sharedconfig.vdf file contain the categories for your personal library folders .

Sharing on this topic as a personal reminder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<USER ID>\config
You can simply copy the whole "config" dir over the new Steam installation to restore everything including custom libraries and list of external games.

especially the files with the customized user library settings seem:
localconfig.vdf
shortcuts.vdf
