Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited system requirements question.

i have a question about ESO specs; Here it says 460 as minimum but many other sites as sysrequirementlabs or gamedebate still says that a 8800GT is the minimum even fro ESO Tamriel Unlimited so, i'm very confused. I know there's a refund now with steam but still, I don't want to download the entire game and buy it if it won't run.

My specs are:

I7 4700MQ
GT 740M
16GB of RAM

Is that enough?

System requirements change over time. In particular, the published requirements pre-release may change drastically before release. It's possible the other web sites requirements are based on pre-release speculation, or an earlier build.

The performance of a GT 740M compared to a GTX 460... not good. You may be able to run the game, but I don't think you would get an optimal experience out of it.

One other thing - don't count on getting a refund if it doesn't work. MMO's like ESO tend to download their patches via the game's own launcher rather than by downloading a Steam update. The snag is that Steam counts any time you spend in a launcher as 'played time' and you can burn through all of the two hour refund limit before you've even finished patching.

It's disapointing that they don't offer somekind of demo or free trial like FF XIII or WOW, because sometime I had tried games that my specs were below the recomended but often still could play well at 1280x720 at medium-low with decent 30-40 FPS!
