Malware in Steam client, any help????
This is what I'm getting from a few days:
http://imgur.com/3V5Banc

now I tried this 4 ones:

- SPYBOT Search & Destroy: Nothing.

- MALWAREBYTES: Nothing

- HITMANPRO: Nothing

- ADWCLEANER: Nothing.

Running out of options as this is a shared PC (I can't format nor reinstall windows).

:(

ANY HELP?. =/

PS: Restoring to a 2 weeks ago recovery: NO HELPING!. (I meant: I DID it, but the ads keep appearing and as I said, it's from a couple of days ago). =/

Your system is screwed

Reinstall the oS and stop downloading malware

Shut down Steam.
Run malwarebytes one more time.
Start Menu > Run > %localappdata%/steam > delete the htmlcache folder

What I did to fix my problem was...

I manually Deleted the Viruses as many as I can find on my PC,

I used the Hitman Pro & Maleware Bytes to find the Viruses, then

I went through File Explorer, & looked up the Viruses, & then hit delete

on the files...

I also did an Inplace Install of Windows 10 Pro...

I also completely deleted STEAM, & I also Deleted my Web Browsers...

I then re-installed everything...

PS You can't Un-install IE Explorer nor Microsoft Edge, as they don't have a way to Re-Install...

So you need to see if you can fix those Browsers another way...

PS, What are your browser Shortcuts linked to?

I found out my Google Chrome was a shortcut for a virus website, not Google Chrome...

You can check this out, by going to App on your Desktop & hit Properties,

then go to Shortcut Tab, & what is the Target & Start In...

What is written in those two spaces?

PS this should fix your issue in STEAM...

You obviously have a Virus on your PC...

Again this is not a permanent Fix, it's just temporary...

A more permanent Fix would be Re-Install Windows...

Delete Steam's web cache. Using Steam settings, that is.

My friends, this was November, 2015. =P
The ONLY way I actually did solve the problem, was reinstalling everything (windows) from scratch, though. =(
