Money Taken from my PaySafeCard but didn't recieved
So I tried to add 5€ on my steam account from PaySafeCard which I bought from a store. I wrote the code and clicked the "Add Funds" button. They usually send me my money on steam less then a hour. I waited for around 2hours and I got suspicious so I checked my Purchase History to see if my money was still there. It was and I just waited a couple more hours for my money. I checked in 2 hours again and the money purchase was gone from my history. I just want to know if I will ever get the money back, has anyone expierenced this. Please help me if anyone knows what to do

contact the Custom support from Steam and Paysafecard, or you can go back to the shop where you bought your psc and try to exchange it

If it does not appear here: https://store.steampowered.com/account/history/ and you did not get an email receipt then your purchase has most likely failed. When that happens, your payment provider puts a hold on your funds until they verify and recredit them to you. This can take up to 10 business days depending on your payment provider;s policies and your country's banking laws, but in most cases takes within 3 or 4 days.

Most pre-paid debit cards can be used on Steam, but I do not suggest using pre-paid debit cards. In addition to being a ripoff (fees, lack of protections/support, no rewards) they also have trouble on some internet sites like Steam. Due to the high amount of attempted credit card fraud on Steam, they often take a couple extra measures to verify the billing name and info that you submit is the same that the card issuer has on file. Since prepaid cards don't have that info by default purchases can often fail. Most card companies will allow you to contact the number on the back of the card for you to attach your billing info to the card.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
