Steam Service not install
Whenever I try to go on Steam, it states "In order to run Steam properly on this version of Windows, the Steam service component must be installed. The service installation process requires administrative privileges." But whenever I click "Install Service or even "Cancel", it stops responding. What should i do?

A temporary fix would be running Steam as an Administrator. This will open anything that Steam needs to function alongside it.

Fully fixing these requires the following (On Windows 8.1 at least, can work on 7)
>Windows Key + S (Open the search panel)
>Search 'Services'
>Open 'Services', not 'Component Services" (If Component Services is present)
>Scroll down the list until you find 'Steam Client Service'

If the service is listed as anything other than 'Disabled', then attempt reinstalling Steam (Backup your games!!)
If the service is listed as 'Disabled', continue on.

>Right click on the service and open the 'Properties'
>Change the startup type to either of the following:
Manual: The servicewill start when it is needed WITHOUT requiring admin permissions
Automatic: The service will start when your computer boots. May lead to starting Steam as well.
>Hit the 'Start' button in this window to start the 'Steam Client Service' and apply all the changes made.

If you changed the startup type to Automatic, reboot your computer and start Steam if itdoesnt start for you.

If you changed the startup type to Manual, try starting Steam, if it gives you the same error as before, reboot your computer and try again.

If everything I said above didnt work, just try reinstalling Steam and repeat if it throws the error again.
