How do i move items around my steam inventory to organize it? It wont let me drag and drop things

You cant. The only way is to trade items to another account and trade them back in a specific order.

For game items you can usually move items around in the game and they will appear in that order on Steam client. But you cannot reorganize them from the Steam client.

For Steam items (trading cards, etc.) I don't think there is any way to do that. I don't think trading them away and back would even work, because cards for a game are grouped together regardless of when you get them.

I was wanting to move my H1Z1 items around and organize them, they are a mess.

yeah, the steam market needs some serious improvement lol. It is really primitive at the moment.

Here are the main things it is missing :
- can't rearrange items
- can't mark specific items as "not for sale" so they don't appear in the "sell item" section
- can't select a bunch of the same item for a bulk sale

put all in market for sale (at a high price). remove them in the order you want to have in your inventory

I do that for items I want to keep for a while, still annoying and doesn't let you use the items.
