Any way to talk to a real human at steam/valve?
Hey guys, just curious what the best way to get in touch with a biological support rep with a working brain is. I'm trying to discuss the status of a refund, but there's no way to reply to a refund request and they just keep sending canned answers when i support new ones.

<rant-ish>
They are about to lose a $120+ a month customer (I've already cancelled all my steam hardware due to these support issues), and I'd really like to get it resolved without having to walk away from the convenience of the service. I can't wait for Amazon to open their own competing service.

All you can do is submit a support ticket and wait weeks for a reply, there is no phone number or live chat.

Only way to get in contact is via a Support ticket. What is the issue? If your refund request is being denied then it's the final say, there are no exceptions.

I found this on some weird website, try it at your own risk.

What exactly is your issue with the answer you got from support?

If you give some details why you think they're wrong and you're right, maybe you reach a different conclusion why your refund has been denied? Did you exeed playing time? Was this due technical difficulties? > Lots of other reasons why you detest the list of rules for refund <

Is this game 'early access' ?

Did an update broke, or a dev going in hiding? If all these things happen, you still will be refunded if valve declares this is a scam. If not, you should know how Early access is supposed to be. Support development. If you don't agree with this, don't buy into EA.

If this is about full releases, try complaining at developers. They usually able to sort out the issues since they control their own storefront on steam.

Also, if you're using the browser, you should be able to respond on tickets. Not sure if anything changed, but I'm able to respond in my regular browsers (chrome/FF)

The 2nd respons should come from humans, first ones are auto messages (Depending on kind of issue)

You can "not like" the canned response all you want, you were reviewed by a human and denied. They won't change their mind on that.

I'm not interested discussing my refund issues on the forum, only trying to see if there's some way to speak to someone. Thanks for the feedback, seems my concerns about weeks on a support ticket were justified - seems pretty unreasonable for a hardware vendor.
