My Hijacked account.
Hey doods,
My account http://steamcommunity.com/id/IceBergs was Hijacked earlier today. I didn't get to lock it before I realized my 20 emails in russian confirming my phone removed etc. I know there's a 7 day trade ban. I'm just hoping to all mighty gaben that they can help me get back in before day 7. I'll probably lose a good $1000 in items. I don't know if I could live with myself. I entered everything I could to regain control today. The question is how long do I wait before I see my skins washed away? Steam support is known for their half job support. Is it reliable these days? have you been hacked and got your items back from steam? Just some questions from a gamer to gamer who doesn't want to lose his money time and what he loves.

it will still be locked after 7 days.

your items are digital anyway it does not matter what happens to them.

It may not matter to you or anyone what happens to my items. I took pride and loved my items. I had a big collection, I'm making the point if My money is tossed away like garbage I won't be very happy.I didn't get to lock it. I'm saying that the steam support is booty. I don't even believe I can get a reply from even a month from what I've heard

I got it after I read it again lol.
So how can I lock something I can't sign into again?

My emails were wiped (and were in russian by the hacker) I found some old emails I had when I got on chrome a few weeks ago. It didn't work though clean sweep. All emails just gone

So you've actually seen the emails, haven't used them to lock your account when they were there and now they're gone?

So you've actually seen the emails, haven't used them to lock your account when they were there and now they're gone?
I was in panic mode. Trying to save my account. (I changed my email AND password until I realized I was being keylogged and fresh installed windows and removed the virus

does not have any added value for you , if it is clear cut to support thats is not your IP you have a better chance of getting items back.

if you often switched IP's , played in internet cafe's or use VPN/proxy it gets harder for support to see that you got hijacked for real.

try recovering the emails with gmail support if you can not recover them.
maybe they work fast,

I tried grabbing emails. steam in russian code in russian everything they're gone. I was able to view my aol sign in history with russian all over it same as my gmail
