Valve Store refund not crediting my bank
So I was shopping at the Valve store for Aperture themed apparels, and I got products on my cart, and eventually billed me.
The billing went smoothly, and I got my receipt.

Now, here's the problem.
I saw that the hoodie I've ordered was on 'Small', instead of 'Medium', so I cancelled my order while it was still 'Pending Approval'. I'd like to note that my bank was already 'Billed' by this stage.
After cancelling, I now get the status as 'Cancelled', and even got an e-mail saying that my transaction was cancelled.
I later went on to check my bank account to see if I was reimbursed, just so I can re-order again in the correct clothing sizes. I'm quite dissapointed to see that it wasn't credited.

I've sent a ticket since yesterday, but I still am getting no response.
I'm getting a bit worried.

Additional info:
I noticed that the Valve store uses NetSuite for cloud transactions. I know then for a fact that NetSuite has direct tie-ups with major credit companies, so transactions and reimbursements should be instant. I find it odd that this one isn't returning my money.

=
Has anyone else experienced this? I'm kinda getting worried with my money since it's quite a lot.

It can take up to 10 business days for your payment provider to credit back your account.

Is this confirmed? Because I'm going to do another order just so the delivery can be scheduled earlier.

I can't speak on experience with the Valve store but assuming they operate like most merchants (including Steam) , I am pretty sure it will sort itself out. Basically you canceling the order should automatically trigger the Valve Store to either reject or return the funds. Then your bank has to confiirm the funds were rejected and they put a hold on them. Unless either end has to confirm something manually I would expect to see the funds back in your account within 3 business days though as I said before, depending on your payment provider's policies and country's banking laws it could take up to 10 banking/business days max.

If you do not need to order the item ASAP, you can wait until your money shows back up. Also, if possible, if you re-purchase the item soon and you have the option of leaving a message, I'd note that this is an intended purchase and the prevous one was due to a size mix up. I doubt they'd hold up your 2nd purchase but sometimes a seller will want to confirm things if an order for the same thing happens in a short period especially if one was canceled; but it's probably not going to be an issue.

Ah, I'm not too familiar with bank holds myself.
At the moment, my bank isn't notifying me on anything, so it must be on Valve's side for now. After 2-3 days, I'll try and ask my bank if there's anything on hold with regards to my fund.

I'll keep this posted then. Hopefully, this would help someone out in the future as well.
Thanks for the replies, (apart from that 'ewf' guy)

Update. So it has been seven days since my said transaction.
I've gotten my Bank statement for the month of October.
Also, a reply from Valve's support team.

They told me that it would be credited on my next statement.
Well, I've gotten my statement and nothing showed up.
Plus, I've also asked my bank if I have any transactions on hold, incoming and outgoing. It's clean.

fml.

I still don't know where my money is.
