Doom 2 and Dark Forces Classic Controls

I recently bought the Doom pack, which included the Master Levels for Doom 2, but the game gives me no option to play on classic controls (Arrow keys for movement, Shift for strafing) and instead defaults to the awkward (For me, at least) mouse/keyboard combo. I hate it. I've played Doom on PC since the mid 90's, and the abrupt control change is extremely frustrating, especially since Doom 2, Ultimate Doom and Final Doom all give me a classic controls option at start-up (Hell, even Quake and it's mission packs use the old default controls, so does Heretic and Hexen).

I also recently bought Dark Forces and am running into the same problem. This is extremely frustrating for me. Any suggestions?

And please don't just tell me to download zdoom. That won't help me with the Dark Forces problem anyway.

There is nothing in the Steam client that can help you rebind keys for certain games. Only in game options or an external program will do it.

Well, that's incredibly disappointing. I kind of wish there's a disclaimer declaring changed controls that can't be unchanged. I seriously don't think I'll ever have the patience to play either game at all. So I'm out that cash.
