will buying steam games increase your lvl?
ya what the title says i was wondering can you lvl up that way?

Buying and playing "SOME" Steam games will get you a certain amount of card drops. Get enough cards and you can craft a badge to increase your Steam level. The fastest and cheapest way is to buy the cards directly from the Steam market and craft your badges to increase your Steam level.

Not directly.
You do gain XP for buying games and eventually, you'll get a game collectors badge ( check out the Game Collector Badges on this page http://steamtreasurehunt.wikia.com/wiki/Badges#CommonBadges ).

But it's not much that you'll get. If you really want to progress with your level, you'll need to craft badges.

i know about the crad drops but did not really understand about the badges thanks!

if you have a 1000 games you get 1xp per game for it.
you just get more XP when you just starting.

not the best way to level up.

oh i was also wondering how do i get the skyrim badges like the mutiple ones

so what do i get mutiple crads? to get the deffreint badges? (soz if i said that wonrg)

you need a complete set to craft a badge from it , pretty basic.
you can craft a normal badge 5 times and a foil badge 1 time.

your tf2 items or scrap metal you can trade for cards too in game.

what i'm confused is how do you craft the badge that has mutiple like (example your skyrim Daedric badge and your iorn badage how do you get both? make more crads?

You can only get two (simultaneous) badges for a game.

Standard and the Foil.

Iron is level 1 of the regular badge; Daedric is the 5th level of the regular badge.
Basically, by completing the deck 5 times you'll have Daedric; but you'll no longer have the Iron badge.

You get 100 XP each level.

I assuming it is a normal badge you upgrade 5 times and a foil badge.

I don't know what is so confusing about it.
you get a set of cards and craft a badge.
very basic stuff to understand.

if that are badges on the steam profile you speak about.

but if i get daedric can i still keep iron is it still in my badges?
