I'm using Win7 x64 Ultimate on an AMD FX-8350. Could very well be a win7 problem but its more likely to be a steam problem. Thing is, the steam browser is based on "Chronium" architecture, look it up it's generally deemed as ♥♥♥♥ by most ppl.
Edit: I've tried almost everything. Flash uninstalled then installed. Installed all versions for all browser types, even ones I dont use or arent installed. But no, this ♥♥♥♥ just keep happening.
I have seen stranger things happen with PC's and PC gaming if I'm honest.
If you still don't get it; clicking on a youtube embedded link makes it play wich makes it crash.
Tthe youtube videos are embedded in the Steam Browser client wich is the primary tool to browse the Steam Community. Clicking on the video will make it autoplay and NOT open in a different browser. Rightclicking is also not possible. Do you just join this discussion without knowing what we're talking about here?
Or are you suggestion to, everytime i see a youtube here on steam, click "copy url page" and paste that in my browser? If so, that is a workaround but not a solution.
I would love to post a youtube link here right now to show you but since clicking on it may freeze our steam browsers I wont. I dont want to cause any troubles for anyone.

Suprisingly enough, it did not crash my steam browser - it seems relatively stable recently, only one or two crashes this week. It's weird though, sometimes it keeps crashing almost every time it tries to load a youtube vid, no matter what i do, then there's times when it seems stable for most of the time...
Good to know that it's happening with Intels too :)
Yup, as i said before, i don't think that flash is causing the crashes either...
I have a AMD FX8350 like many others in this thread, though I think it's unlikely it's the CPU causing this.
Like Store scrolling is acting like a turtle sometimes and continue this problem today and as it is Steam client navigation.
1. Download Flash Player through Internet Explorer: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
2. Install
3. Restart Steam. No more freezes or whatsoever.
