2 Questions then:
1 - Did you hear of any way to deal with it, or at least find out why it suddenly started happening?
2 - I see you're playing warhammer vermintide..... is it worth the money? I hear there are 13 maps only, and they are very short, each taking less than 20 minutes. How is it, value for money wise?
Thanks in advance
Can't answer your first question. Your thread popped up while I was searching for people with the same issue. Decided to give it a good ol' bump.
As for Vermintide, yeah I'd say it's worth it. There are 13 maps. 6 of them are 'campaign' maps that can take roughly 30-45 minutes to finish depending on the people you're playing with and how well you're doing. The rest are considered side missions that can be finished fairly quickly.
As long as we back and forth it keeps the thread bumped, maybe someone will spot it who has an answer for us regarding the youtube nonsense
:)
I found that restarting steam usually gets it working again, but then after a while I will go and try to watch a community video, or any youtube linked video actually, and it will freeze again.
I can still access my library, but any other tab will bring up the same black page with the black youtube window in it, stuck and not responding.
But yes, a little loading icon in the corner, like it's trying to load or connect or something. But I have left it for an hour and nothing happens.
I also deleted all files in the html cashe folder's. No fix.
P.S. using Steam overlay sometimes youtube videos and audio will stop playing but it doesn't stop me from closing the window and opening another but inside Steam client force me to log off and log back.
only fix i've found is to force quit the program, or il will load the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ video forever...
Really hope this gets fixed soon...
Edit: There are other threads here about this particular issue as apparently it affects more and more people.
