USB Mic Working in W10, but Steam doesn't Recognize It
As the title says, I received a SteelSeries Siberia Elite Prism in the mail yesterday. I plugged it into the USB soundcard that came with it, and Windows 10 recognizes and utilizes the mic fine. However, when I get into CSGO no sound comes out. In addition, when I go into the voice panel in the Steam settings, the microphone test doesn't show any signal transmitting. I have tried everything, unplugging and replugging the soundcard into a different USB port, reinstalling the SteelSeries drivers and rebooting, etc. The microphone is set to be the default device in W10 settings. I'm at a loss, I really don't want to have to not use the soundcard, since I paid so much for this headset. Can anyone help?

If you have nVidia - uninstall Shadow Play

Uninstalling the GFE beta fixed the issue!
