Cant find the activation key and i lost the CD pack-manual. Please help

Cant find the activation key and i lost the CD pack-manual. Please help

i bought the football manager a year ago and i can play via steam but i need the activation key for the editor. PLEASE

Rightclick the game in Steam.

i bought it from ebay, but i lost the disk..

And how's that preventing you from right clicking the game in Steam?

You don't need the key anymore, the game is locked to this steam account and you can install and download it how much you want.

However since you lost your cd manual you have no good way to prove you own the account should you lose access to it. So don't forget that account info and don't loose the email account that you use with Steam.

You have it on your account. Go to Library and find your game.

yea men i play the game, i ve already tried all that for days there is no option to view the activation key neither in properties. I want to instal fmrte( football manager real time editor) where steam does not provide it...

You can install the game with nothing more then your account and you are already logged into that account.

If you want to install the game, install Steam, log in, go to Library, find the game, double click it and there you go.

You don't need to use the key again.

This is how it works when you buy the game from Steam, they don't email you a key or something. The game just appears in the list in Steam and you install it.

steam generally does not store keys for you. there are a few exceptions though. the only waty to recover it IF it does is to right clcik the game in your library and select "View CD Key" should be the second or thid option down. If it is not there then you are just going to have to find the manual.

Sucks but thats life, always annoying when extra features need the key to be activated after the fact.

i know it Forcen, its already installed, the game works but i want to download this content..to do so i must enter the activation key of the game..:/

Sorry to say then you are out of luck for retrieving it here. Best we can do is wish you luck finding the manual XD

I recommend starting a "catalogue" of your keys online, storing them to google drive or somewhere else secure. It's saved me a lot of heartbreak heh

i found something in C : Program Files : Steam : Steam . There are lots of RES files that say ReceiptCDKey, Receipt_CDKey_InvalidKey.res, mos of them look simillar to their name

i found also the receipt ( STEAM RECEIPT FOR KEY SUBSCRIPTION ) but it doesnt say anything important..only this (%%subscription%%)

Wait, what? If you got it installed then it is downloaded? What else could you want to do?
Download and install is the same thing. If you want to play somewhere else just download steam on that PC and log in.

Either way that key does nothing you can't do right now and is useless for other accounts then yours.
