Steam Email Validation isn't sending
So I want to report something that happened to me and has been a target from many players where teamspeak has been used for phishing accounts recently and I wanted to open a ticket for it however, i need to do an email validation on my aol account. It's been over weeks since I requested an email and I constantly would ask for a resend, however, it isn't being sent. I decided on changing my email address to a gmail address, but the steam server is still reading it as my old email account. I tried adding steam's noreply addresses as safe contacts however even through that, I didn't get any email. I requested that email sending still isnt work and i should open a ticket for that too, however, even that i need an email confirmation so now im back to square one. Is there any way for me to contact steam before its too late? (i have 3 days before the grace period for stolen items to be restored)

don't use AOL or yahoo for a support account.

I was thinking you were reporting the teamspeak method but you are a victim.

I had this account for a while and I had aol as my primary for a long time and never bothered changing it. I didn't really need any support until now so that's why I never bothered changing it till today.

I mean every other email i receive is shown like items that i purchased however, when it comes to support system email validation, I dont get anything.

thats because AOL never worked properly for a support account.

last time I check it was also a bit of an outdated service when it comes to security.

Have you confirmed the change of email in the Steam client or Steam support?

I confirmed the steam email on my steam icon (client). I tried @creep's link to a new support ticket, but im still getting a resend verification towards my aol account.

Don't I need to keep this account for the support system to check my trade logs and stuffs?
Creep Oct 21, 2015 @ 1:58pm
not sure what you are asking , you can check your support ticket the same place you made it.

edit: support accounts are not steam accounts.
what are you confused about?
did you make a support account with that gmail?

you are asking if you should keep the steam account?
what else can you do with it?

Basically, I went to the support link at the top, clicked on item, and I asked for support for stolen items and i need to verify with my credit card number that its my account. When im trying to verify, they ask for me to validate the email i used with my steam account which is the aol one. however, it isn't being sent.
Creep Oct 21, 2015 @ 3:19pm
you give your credit card info and thats it and not the full CC info.
now what makes you think you need to verify anything after that?

are you here?
https://help.steampowered.com/
or are you here?
https://support.steampowered.com/ticketlist.php

you make this really complicated and take a long pause to respond.

if you are at help.steampowered.com I can not help you.
all my explaning was for support.steampowered.com.

just logout at support.steampowered.com and make a "new" support account with your gmail.

Creep Oct 21, 2015 @ 11:23pm
than I do not understand why you just can't post your credit card info.
the same way you are posting here but than write it in the ticket.
no weird verification links and what not.
