Question: Activating games through VPN

Hey, i would like to know, if i buy a game, that can only be activated in certain country's. Will i get VAC banned. When using VPN, to activate the game? I heard and read, that it can get my Account locked, and some say no it won't. So i don't know what to believe. Anyone that know more, about this kind of stuff?

You won't get a VAC ban, you'll get a permanent account suspension.

Damn, well thx for the quick answer. Then i'll keep on sticking to the legit way. Even though that some games are way cheaper and only can be activated wtih VPN. So all in all, im not risking my fricking Acount, don't even know how much money i put in it, but its more than enough....

Dont risk your money and your account over a couple of bucks. You can probably find decent deals from authroized resellers. Hell GMG has tons of coupons for 20-25% off all the time. I stacked that to get the new Warhammer Vermintide game for basically 32% off (10% + 25% off). Not bad. And of course much safer.
