Potentially unwanted programs?

So yesterday, I managed to get some sort of PUP file on my computer despite having not downloading anything other than Steam games. Just wanted to know if this file can have an effect on my Steam account or anything like that. The file is called PUP.Optional.GoHD. Thanks in advance!

GoHD is an adware package that is annoying and generally bundled with free software. If you just had a file downloaded, delete it. if you have it installed kill it off with antimalwarebytes.
