not odd at all.
support takes time because people keep handing out accounts and items.
That one time was 100 years ago, you ever open history book?
it has not moved in a 100 years not that much.
As I mentioned, you need VISA to get across the border. AND, only people who live in Eastern Finland are more active with Russian borders or sometimes, never. We live in Western Finland and we have Swedish natives in whole west area, your arguments won't fit in this. We live 30 kilometers away from Swedish border, nothing to do with Russia since closest Russian highly restricted border is 4 hours away.
And yes it is odd to suddenly log in from different location in few minutes, which other location thousands of kilometers away. Go ahead and come to our location and work your papers out how fast can you get across the Russian border, then we can talk more.
I leave my home computer online and login from barcelona sometimes.
not odd.
My friend is 18 year old student, he has school, he has nothing to do with Russia, why cross the border? Why even bother going to Russia in middle of school year? My friend is no diplomat.
I guess you don't understand what kind of border is between Russia and Finland, so I guess you can't talk
That's what they need to improve if they can't but I bet they can. My account was under attempt of hacking and the IP where it was tried to log in from was not mine. They should take deeper investigation on case and enhance ability for real owners to prove their accounts ownership.
I have a better metod , do not hand over your account details for any account for any reason.
Receipts of purchases sent to emails, account information change logs, credit card use logs etc. False positives? Minimum.
He didn't hand over the account details :) I guess you have lack of knowledge on this case.
I can even give a big list of those. Solid or electrical evidence of ownerships options is wide.
the email details if steam guard is enabled.
you can be a 100% anonymous in steam if you want.
Just press of the link, your account can be taken. Take a research.
Here is how it happened. A some Russian person sent an IP to his Teamspeak3 server, on first attempt Teamspeak gave out a message that his client was outdated and "CLICK HERE" to update it, I swear, the message looked so real when AnomalyTV showed an example of the method to avoid but my friend didn't know about it. Nothing happened but he saw new items appeared in his inventory. What was odd, he has never played Team Fortress 2 and he got the items, when he checked the trade history, the hacker attempted to trade items for his mutual account and later, blocked. Email was changed, password was changed. Email was changed WITHOUT double verification via email and the hacker even tried to log in his email.

There's the example, please do research before sending your arguments.
usually from a stranger.
basic internet skills I call that.
why people forget in 2015 I don't know.
if you have no clue how to read an URL don't click it.
As I said it was IP for Teamspeak server (copy & paste > connect) but window opened and said client was outdated and needs updated ("CLICK HERE") for update. IT LOOKED LEGIT (as in video link i sent you) You can even Google it if you are afraid to click that link I just put. It looked so legit he thought it was real, do you even read? Do some research please, seems like you don't get it.
user error.
