FIX regarding microphone not working on Steam or In-Game
If you have a NVIDIA GPU, unistall the latest Geforce Experience update and test if it works.

EDIT: I believe it only applies to the lastest BETA Geforce Experience

I believe the same as I have GFE installed and my microphone works just fine.

I just confirmed the issue ant it indeed work on the version 2.5.15.54, but when i activated BETA updates and patch Geforce Experience it stopped working. Do you have ShadowPlay or Share? Can you co-op stream using your Geforce Experience?

But it still doesn't mean that the bug is applied to everyone

I have Shadowplay, no idea about coop stream. Why do you ask?

The latest Geforce Experience BETA allows co-op stream, and Stream to Youtube and Twitch at 1080p - 60 fps.

To have this update to have to go to Setting in Geforce Experience and activate the BETA updates.

You can replicate the issue by simply update the GE to BETA check if voice works and then unistall and install the previous one.

Kinda sucks since the latest update is awesome and it's in-game overlay is very nice to have.

No thanks. Why would I want to replicate a beta issue? Should the people who like testing unfinished software do that.

Yep, thats what i did, but if you don't use voice chat in steam it is indeed a great update ;)

Yep, thats what i did, but if you don't use voice chat in steam it is indeed a great update ;)
... which will eventually reach RTM status with bugs ironed out.
