If you're patching an existing game yo ushould see the disk activity jump when the download isnot happening. Thats because Steam is patching the files and writing to disk.
In my library it just shows up as "Metro 2033 Redux - 18%."
I'm downloading a new game.
See the green box on the faaar right with the text Disk next to it?
That's what Satoru and I were talking about.
It apparently doesn't say disk usage anymore. When did that change...
Also checked my firewall, nothing out of the ordinary.
I dont have any other downloads running at the moment.
As I said, everything else works fine, this only happens on Steam.
Looks more like your router/firewall/network is screwed up.
Steam uses pure HTTP to download your games. If your router can't handle pure HTTP then there' something wrong with it. If you're on wifi, there are a dozen other factors that could screw up your connection as well.
Or what Satoru said.
I did the same and it's going steady for now.. How weird, seeing how I'm in The Netherlands. Thanks anyway. :)
I guess there's an issue with the EU server or something
