Managing Multiple Steam Accounts
I teach a computer class at an elementary school. There are a few games i would like to use in some of my classes. Games like Moon Base Alpha and Portal 2. I need to create about 18 Steam accounts and manage them with parental settings and such. Is there a way to manage multiple accounts? It is becoming too cumbersome to set up manually on each PC.

Steam offers to account management. There's the cyber cafe program though, that might help you.

I think the cafe program is dead.

Here is a great educational game which is free for schools, no steam needed: http://universesandbox.com/blog/2012/11/universe-sandbox-is-now-free-to-schools/

Also Steam for schools is not accepting new applications any more it seems according to that same blogpost.

That was stopped over a year ago. Universe crashbox isnt free any more for schools and the program stopped.

I am not entirely sure what you want to achieve " It is becoming too cumbersome to set up manually on each PC."

if you think you can get around installing the games on every machine then i am afraid i have to say it is not possible.

if you however want to create a batch file to manage the account(s) itself/themselves.

this is how i would go about it:

1- login to each account on each pc using the steamguard code.
2- take the ssfn from each pc.
3- turn on family view / limit everything that u feel the accounts should not have access to.
4- create a batch file with all 18 steam accounts logins and have it copy all 18 ssfn files into the steam folder directory.

then if u do not trust ur students or whatever, i would turn that batchfile into an exe and encrypt it.

i could shown u in details if need be.

they say its dead now if you can not do anything with it I would make a similar suggestion as MalikQayum but I was lazy.
