How can I remove beta name on Steam?
I have Warlock II: The Exiled on Steam. My beta name is always at the end of the game. How can I remove it? There is a name next to it in parentheses [].

If the game is in beta, you cant. If the game has a beta branch and you're in jt, leave the beta branch. You do that at the same place where you joined the beta branch.

Right mouse click the game > Properties > Betas.

I have only chosen it to be in beta, because it has a serious bug, that only the beta solves. So can't I remove it?

Technically you can always modify the appinfo.vdf but that's a temporary workaround.

The only permanent way to get rid of the tag is for the beta to end, or by opting out of it.

What is opting out? Leaving it? I'm on Linux by the way.
