Astro a40 Dolby surround sound not working

I just setup my astro a40 mixamp and headest from my xbox one, to my pc. For some reason the dolby surround sound button and eq mode button are not working when i press them. They worked fine on the xbox, but now they aren't working. I still hear sound and the game and chat dials still work. How do i fix it so i could use these two buttons from the mixamp on my pc?
