Yellow fps counter in top left corner while playing games not fraps (SOLVED)

There is this strange fps read out when i play games. It is not fraps razor game boost or over wolf. I have no idea what it is but i want it gone. Here is what it looks like http://imgur.com/IR9IMVO(SOLVED)

Go to steam and click steam settings and go to the section ingame and uncheck FPS and it won't be there anymore.

I don't think it is i checked the shadowplay section of Nvidia geforce experince and the status indicators are off. If there is a setting in the Nvidia control panel that could cause this could someone let me know? btw if it matters my card is a gtx 760

EUREKA i have found out what it is. I use a fan controller in my pc made by nzxt which is monitored with there cam software. Which i just now learned has a built in fps counter. Don't i feel stupid problem solved
