Fairly inconsequential glitch tbh, /config/ folder is just part of your steam installation, and your avatar is stored in there as coplay_<your steam id>.vdf

No idea what causes it to be created on the desktop, probably fixed by now, unless you had this issue as well.

This file runs separate from "avatar" storage prerequisite as it's been spotted during PvP gaming on steam followed by a number that is NOT user id related.
So what is "coplay" used for? Seeing that Steam is attempting to run games separate of the host machine, we can deduce there are now "controls" involved which reconfigure the users' interactions. Is this one of those files?

1. vdf files dont run, its just an image format
2. where/when was it spotted? more importantly, do you have a screenshot, what was the number?
3. wild speculation about the name of a cached file of your steam avatar is pointless

#2 Yes
#3 Deductive reasoning is far from wildness....
