when other players ask me the steam id, what should I give? The profile name or the username for access to steam?

i find my numeric steam id in a seconds too but i look peoples steam id with a name, then o ask: in my case i give "Vertex" or "verte_x" ?

those are not steamID's
a community name and a custom URL.

"STEAM_0:0:57843429" is the original steamID format steamID32.
the rest was added later.
