Why such slow scrolling?
In the steam store every notch of the scroll wheel seems to move the page down like once row of horizontal pixels at a time. I only have this problem in steam, no other browsers and not so much in grid view for some reason though. I've seen people having this problem for years, is there a fix?

please help as navigating the store is very tedious right now

reinstall steam, or exit it, also check your mouses sensativity and steams mouse sensativity.

what is steam mouse sensitivity?

edit: i've already gone through numerous steam updates since installing it and I don't remember ever not having the slow scroll speed since I built my PC in June.

have you checked your mouses sensitivity, why not try free up some space on your pc, it helped mine.

this is a new rig with plenty of space its a gtx 970 and amd 8310 it can handle application scrolling lol. I also scroll through every other application without a problem its only steam that has this extrememely low sensitivity. also as I said, when I google this problem it seems to be one thats been recurring for users for years. evidently only for select people though

Then move your mouse over to the scroll bar and scroll that way. Is it that hard? If that doesn't work, it's probably the sheer amount of stuff on the store's front page.

when youre using a huge screen yeah its pretty tedious to scroll with the bar. idk why anyone seems to think the steam client is too graphically taxing for a gaming rig to scroll through

the only way I was able to change it was to change my mouse scrolling from 1 line to 3 but its sped up my scrolling in everything else
