CS:GO "Failed to create D3D device!" - Pls Help
I just bougth CS:GO to play with friends but when i launch it, it says "Failed to create D3D device!"
I tried to fix it, I also looked it up in google, but nothing helps. Pls i need help :steamsad:

This should be postted in CS:GO forum, but, try asking on reddit and other sites. Also contacts steam support if all fails.

Steam Support Page

  1. Make sure everything is up to date via Windows Updater
  2. If you own an AMD card check drivers are up to date and download any patches[support.amd.com]
  3. If you own a Nvidia card check the manufactures driver page. Evga[www.evga.com] Acer[us.acer.com] Gigabyte[www.gigabyte.com.au] MSI[au.msi.com] PNY[www.pny.com] Zotac[www.zotac.com]

    If it still crashes after relevant updates

    1. Go to Steam's Library.
    2. Right-click on the affected game.
    3. Go to Properties > General > Set launch options...
    4. Type in -dxlevel 90
    5. Click OK.
