steam client not found?

i've just updated dota 2 but when i click play game it says steam client not found. please help

You try to restart steam,computer or verify all files of game ??

If it not works try to delete everything from your Steam folder except Steam.exe, Steamapps and Userdata folders and run Steam again. It will download and should fix this issue.
