one steam account to use in 2 countrys. Any problems?
I am living in germany near the border to austria. So I play at home often and now I have friends really near in austria. I want to bring my PC and play on steam at their house. I read Steam could ban your account if you change your location (other country) immediately and log back in again. So as I would do this more often is this true and when the answer is yes how long do I have to wait until I can log in again? Does somebody now the time limit?
Also can I buy games on steam when I am in austria with no problem? I guess it will also be the german shop there.
This will be all the same for other countrys I guess right?

Yes, it will. But there will be steam guard so you cannot trade and use market for 1 week over there for security reasons. Otherwise, normal.

At home he can be using a desktop and he might bring a laptop previously not use steam.

Where have you read this nonsense?
So why did have to wait for the last minute, so is there a time limit?
I read it online in a forum (searched for it didn't find it again) some guy said that if you change your country in seconds (so like when 2 guys are using the same account) the account will get blocked because changing countrys in seconds is not possible and they do this because of security reasons. So wanted to just check if those seconds this guy is telling me are no hours?!
lol are you kidding?
you do not have to wait to the last minute.

read the FAQ it is all in there word for word ingore everything else.

you must be joking right?

just in case you are not joking I will spoon feed it.
How do I make a purchase while travelling?
Your country is now part of your Steam account, so no matter where you travel, you'll see the store in your country's prices and be able to make purchases as you would normally.

steam was always made to be protable and no you do not have to make a purchase :rfacepalm:

And some guys said the world will end at 20.12.2012. Guys on the internet can just as well be idiots.
So is it even no problem let's say my computer at home is currently online for like downloading new games and I go online in another country with my notebook with the same account. I mean normally that does work.
steam does not care were you are on the globe.
it will act like you are home country untill you change it.

how is in the FAQ too.

if you login on another computer the other login goes offline.
another subject.

How do I have to understand that. Are you refering to 2 computers 2 countrys or 2 computers 1 country as I am logged in at both my computers now and online, or is it because it's in the same network, but I remember logging in an account of my friend at the time he was online...
you are asking what happens if you login your laptop , than your other system with steam logs off that steam.
if you are next to it or on the other side of the world.
this is not related to this subject.
